A short story at the beginning:

Daiju visits the zen-master Baso in China.
Baso asks him: "What are you looking for?"
"Enlightenment", Daiju responds.
"You got your own treasury. Why are you
seeking beyond?"
Daiju asks: "Where is my treasury?"
Baso responds:"Your inquiry is your treasury".
